Not all Deuce stops have a ticket machine, but all SDX stops do because you can't buy a tickets on a SDX bus. You can buy tickets on a Deuce bus (exact fare only). Depending on where you are staying on the strip you will be close to a Deuce stop but not a SDX stop.

Fares on the Deuce and SDX buses are the $6/$8/$20 (three day) fares. If you pay that fare, you can use the same ticket on the other routes (so called "residential routes"). If you pay the $2 fare for a residential route, then try to get on a Deuce bus (where you enter at the front and run your ticket through a scanner) you won't be allowed on. The SDX makes six stops downtown on its northbound journey before arriving at the Bonneville Transit Las Vegas, NV 89103 . Local: 702-252-0655. Toll-free: 800-244 (There used to be an awesome express bus ("SDX"), but it was discontinued in Oct. 2020 due to a drop in funding.) The normal and (reduced) fares are: $6 ($3) for a 2-hour pass (no, you can't buy a single trip for less) Buses regularly stop at points along both routes, so riders can jump on and off while sightseeing. The Las Vegas Deuce is a double-decker air-conditioned bus that runs along the Strip with room for up to 97 people.
